Jesse Rossbach

 Executive Chef

Jesse grew up with a passion for food. After earning his degree from Johnson and Wales, Jesse traveled across the country from Denver Colorado to Arizona, Texas and New Mexico. During this time, he was discovering all segments of the hospitality industry and how to best serve guests. In 2015, Jesse started at Tim Love’s Lonesome Dove in Austin, TX where he worked as a Sous Chef. Jesse was asked to open a new location which, luckily for us, brought him to Knoxville in as the Chef de Cuisine in 2016. Jesse joined Elkmont in 2018 to be involved in all aspects of the operation including working with vendors, menu development and creating simple straight forward dishes that fit the neighborhood. Jesse has revitalized the menu and is inspired by our unique space and amazing brewery.

When he’s not cooking, creating, or drinking his favorite Elkmont beer, you can find him at home honing his passion for drumming.
